My name is Rebel and I was born in the western part of Romania in the communist era. At the age of 4, I started doing gymnastics, and soon after I became fascinated with the world of artistic dancing. Anything that included letting myself be carried away by the sounds of music became my main focus in my early childhood years . I started to pursue this passion of mine and enrolled in as many dancing curses I could find in my city, until one day at a wedding when my parents got approached by a master choreographer from the capital, requesting a meeting with the intent of discussing my talents and the future I had in the world of dancing. Unfortunately, my father didn’t even want to hear it and immediately made sure I was as far away as possible from the world of performing. Little did he know that after, I made sure to participate in absolutely any celebrations, shows, and performing arts that my hometown had scheduled and if I wasn’t dancing I was part of the choreography. For me, at that age, it meant the world and I’m so thankful for my mom who supported me constantly. I basically grew up on stage doing what I loved thanks to her while also pursuing competitive swimming, and later on athletics.
On January 16, 1998, I left my country and moved to the United States of America, where I spent 25 years of my life. There I was introduced to the world of fitness by a friend of mine. I began loving weight lifting and so naturally I began competing in fitness and bodybuilding competitions. That period of my life had a massive impact on how I live my life today because it has taught me ambition, mental focus, and strength, it has taught me how to stay healthy and what it means to have a balanced , clean diet. I’ve learned the different lengths and records my body can accomplish as well as how important it all was and is for my emotional and physical well-being.
Introduced from a very early age to the world of modelling by my mom who was a model in the 60’s and 70’s I’ve always been very comfortable in front of a camera and loved it immensely actually. In 2005 I had my first official photoshoot. It made me feel absolute and in that very moment something clicked and I understood immediately that I was exactly where I needed to be, doing exactly what I was meant to be doing. The pictures turned out beautiful and the more I modeled the more It brought a different light to this complex world we live in. Simply put a world without beauty, art, and femininity is a very dull space. And there I was finally meeting happiness. Today I can confidently say that being both soft and strong is a lethal combination that I have mastered and guess what? I don’t have to choose between being gentle or fierce, both exist in nature and both exist in me, and that is pure absolute perfection just as our world is. I am proud of the woman I am today, because I am full of sensuality, femininity, and passion, my thirst for love has grown tremendously and my immense belief in pure love has been my inspiration in everything I create. I am ruthless in the pursuit of what sets my soul on fire. Art to me is a humanitarian act and I believe that there is a responsibility that my art should somehow be able to affect mankind, to make the world a better place. ART IS AN EFORT TO CREATE, besides the real world, A MORE HUMAN WORLD. I feel obliged and committed to contribute with my creativity, through all the ups and downs life has to offer, in grace, full of sensuality, femininity, beauty, and this art of mine. They say when it comes to art, it is important not to hide the Madness … and I couldn’t agree more. Because
THE NOBLEST ART IS THE NUDE
This truth is recognized by all, followed by painters, sculptors, and poets. Only the dancer has forgotten it, who should remember it, as the instrument of the rhythmic art is the human body itself, just as beauty awakens the soul to act. ART NUDE IS A PARTNERSHIP. While the modeling side is predominantly female and the photography side is predominantly male, both make the art beautiful and complete. The model’s perceived beauty is enhanced by the unique eye of the photographer. We both create art together!
